John Steinbeck

Classic American Author of such great novels as "The Grapes of Wrath," "East of Eden," and "Cannery Row," among many others. Steinbeck was disliked- even hated- in his hometown of Monterey/Salinas until it was discovered there was money to be made in the memory of Steinbeck.
