Hello, again, Rock Fans:

In all the excitement, I completely forgot to mention that I recently visited Joshua Tree National Park and found Cap Rock, where, in 1973, the body of 26 year old singer-songwriter Gram Parsons was cremated by his friends. He had died nearby on September 18 at the Joshua Tree Inn and his body was to be flown to New Orleans for burial. But his buddies stole the casket from LAX and brought him back to Joshua Tree to carry out his final wish. See the rock here:
