John Wayne

Was the Duke killed by the US Army? In 1956 Wayne shot "The Conqueror" (aka "Genghis Khan") just a few miles from a site where the Army was conducting nuclear testing. Of the primary cast of "The Conqueror," Wayne, Susan Hayward, Agnes Moorehead, William Conrad, and John Hoyt, as well as director Dick Powell, all died of cancer. Coincidence? Such a terrible waste for such an awful film.
