Black Dahlia Murder Location

According to his book, Black Dahlia Avenger, the True Story, retired LAPD Homicide Detective Steve Hodel says that the killer of Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia, was his own father, Dr. George Hill Hodel, and that the famous murder took place in this home, designed by Lloyd Wright, (son of FLW), where the Hodels were living at the time. The doctor then transported the mutilated remains down Normandie Ave to the vacant lot at Norton and 39th Street where they were discovered the next morning, January 15, 1947, becoming the most infamous unsolved murder of the 20th Century.
