Frank Sinatra

Known as Ol' Blue Eyes and the Chairman of the Board, Sinatra was one of the first superstars of song, beginning in the early 1940s as the singer for Harry James and later Tommy Dorsey. He caused hysteria among the "Bobby Soxers" of the era and broke away from Dorsey to go solo. He went on to remain one of the most unique crooners of his generation, as well as a film actor and leader of the so-called Rat Pack.
