William Selig

Early filmmaker and studio founder, his Lincoln Heights movie studio featured a zoo because he made a lot of jungle pictures. It stood until 1920. He also built Mixville, a western studio set for Tom Mix in Glendale before Mix moved on to 20th Century Fox.
