Beneath Los Angeles ARCHIVE~

BLA Store Opens

Good Morning, Campers!

Exciting news to report today. After much consideration, my web masters and I have decided to bring you the Official Beneath Los Angeles Gift Shoppe! The link is located at the bottom of most of the pages on the site, but here's a shortcut: Now you can own quality T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Coffee Mugs and Mouse Pads bearing the origianl grave photography featured on our site. The images include the graves of Marilyn Monroe, Groucho Marx, Curly Howard, Mel Blanc, Rudolph Valentino, and our cover page photo of the Cupid & Eros Sculpture, as well as the BLA Logo. These make great gifts for your grave hunting enthusiast friends, as well as for yourself, from one grave hunter to another. I hope you enjoy browsing the shoppe, and if you have any requests for other images to appear, I am always open to your suggestions.

Another update is coming soon, and will focus on the graves of Redondo Beach. I recently visited Pacific Crest Cemetery there to find the silent screen star Mae Marsh, and came across several Just Plain Dead entries I thought you might enjoy. Like the woman whose epitaph reads "I Love All My Children." Is she a devoted mother, I wondered, or a raving soap opera fan? You be the judge. I'll write again when those pictures are added. Until then, the What's New page will always keep you updated.

Thank you, as always, for your support and kind letters. The new server is working well, although for a long time I wasn't getting your replies to these letters. That has been fixed, so if you feel the urge to respond to this, I should get it.

Have a great weekend!
