Hamburger

Moses Hamburger was a very well known merchant who's father founded Hamburger's Department Store in downtown Los Angeles. The store was later bought out by the May Company Stores. The original building at Broadway and 8th Street in Los Angeles is still in use. (Research provided by Joe Walker and Mark Masek)
